LAS CRUCES, New Mexico -- Police were at a Las Cruces church on Saturday morning that was described as a crime scene, but authorities were tight-lipped on their investigation.
Las Cruces police and New Mexico State Police officers converged on the Las Cruces Central Seventh-day Adventist Church.
A stretch of 3 Crosses Avenue, near North Alameda, was blocked off due to police activity.
An ABC-7 crew at the scene observed black fences blocking the entrance of the church. Yellow crime scene tape could also be seen.
Police said they anticipated providing details later Saturday on the situation.
