8:05 p.m. in the 200 block of Sunnyside Avenue: A woman, 30, of San Jose was caught rummaging through someone’s car. The suspect also had stolen mail from Rincon Ave. in her possession along with a meth pipe.
8:46 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Bascom Avenue: A man gave the cashier a fake $50 during a transaction. The suspect is described as having a goatee and was last seen driving a silver Mitsubishi Galant.
1:39 p.m. Budd & San Tomas Expressway: A woman was reported as being “out of it” and walking in the area. She was found to be too intoxicated to care for herself. The suspect also had an outstanding $10k warrant for her arrest. She was transported to the sobering station.
2:16 p.m. in the 300 block of Budd Avenue: The victim’s father called from out of the country reporting his daughter was involved in a domestic violence incident last night. The victim had several visible injuries. A man, 30, was arrested.
March 24
5:49 p.m. in the 1200 block of Salerno Drive: A small fire started in a back yard full of garbage. It is unknown how the fire started.
3:11 a.m. in the 100 block of West Hamilton Avenue: A 39-year-old got upset with a roommate for bringing a guest over. They got into an argument, and the suspect hit the roommate with a long metal object causing injury. The suspect also hit another roommate with an object and slapped him in the face.
Overnight in the 400 block of Salmar Avenue: A man reported his 01 F-250 work truck stolen and another truck parked next it with a broken window. An officer located the stolen vehicle on Harrison.
2:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue: A man, 32, was caught shoplifting and had a $20,000 warrant for his arrest.
March 25
5:03 a.m. in the 600 block of East Campbell Avenue: A man, 45, was contacted and found to have a $10,000 warrant.
5:11 a.m. in the 800 block of East Hamilton Avenue: Someone forced entry into a business. Police responded to an alarm dispatched seven minutes after the initial activation.
1600 block of Dell Avenue: A 2000 white Lexus ES300 was stolen from a parking lot between March 12 and 16. The victim believed that his Nevada license plates may also be inside the trunk of the vehicle.
