Crime Stoppers seeking information on vehicle thefts, vandalism - The Daily Republic

Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers is offering rewards for information regarding vehicle theft and vandalisms that took place earlier this month in Mitchell.

According to authorities, between the hours of 7 p.m. on March 24 and 8 a.m. on March 25, vehicles parked in the 700 block of West 16th Avenue, the 600 block of West 11th Avenue, the 2300 block of South Kimball Street, the 500 block of South Main Street, and the 1300 block of South Duff Avenue had windows broken out.

During the overnight hours on March 26 into March 27, two vehicles were stolen from the parking lot in the 800 block of North Lawler Street. These vehicles, a red Oldsmobile Cutlass and a gray Ford Taurus, were found with large amounts of damage in a parking lot near 1200 W. Fifth Ave. The vehicles appear to have been driving erratically in this area prior to the vehicles becoming disabled.
